A major victory before the Constitutional Court

Case On 3 February 2016, the Constitutional Court rendered an important judgment in the case of Delphine Boël against Jacques Boël and King Albert II.
The Constitutional Court ruled entirely in favor of Delphine Boël, represented by Alain De Jonge, member of our Law Firm, Peeters Advocaten-Avocats.

The Court ruled that possession of state, i.e. the existence of family relationships with the legal father, and the limitation of statute as recorded in the law, may not constitute obstacles for an action of denial of paternity.

The judgment was published on the website of the Constitutional Court and can be found here (D and F).
