Gilles received his master's degree (magna cum laude) in law at the Ghent University in 2020. He joined the Ghent Bar and focused his practice mainly on private corporate law.
In 2021, he transferred to the Brussels Bar and the firm Sub Rosa Legal, which merged into Andersen in 2024.
Gilles also works as an academic assistant at Ghent University in the Metajuridica, private and corporate department where he teaches and is working on a doctoral dissertation.
He thus combines his academic work with legal practice.
